이곳에서 웨슬리찬양대원들은 옹달샘의 진실을 깨닫게 되었다. 그것도 109년동안이나 흐르고 있던 ~~

이천진 목사님의 은혜로운 말씀은 이번 수련회의 단연 백미가 아니었나 싶다. 또한 아픈 몸에도 불구하고 열창을 불러주신 목사님과 멀리서 찾아주신 국악 연주자님들도 이번 수련회 강연을 더욱 풍성하게 해주었다.

많이 웃었다. 지휘자 샘도 찬양대장님도 그리고 참석한 모든 대원들도 크게 웃었다. 큰 웃음을 통해서 상한 영혼도 치료하시나 보나.

역시 마리아답게 자체 발광중이신 베이스 나머지 공부샘이신 황집사님도..
온화 그 자체의 파워를 보여주고 계신 찬양대장님도..
모두 모두 웨슬리찬양대로 하나가 되어 주님을 향한 뜨거운 찬양의 시간을 가졌다. 찬양의 기쁨이 이것이로구나!!

휴식_동막해수욕장

수련회 2일째 점심을 먹고 동막해수욕장으로 향했다. 그곳에 그렇게 큰 즐거움이 기다리고 있을 줄은 몰랐다. 아무도..
식사를 마친지 얼마되지 않았건만, 우리는 함께 있음이 식욕을 이리도 자극할 수 있음을 느꼈다.

팔레스타인에 평화를!
현재 팔레스타인을 돕기위한 모금으로 이스라엘군의 공습을 받은 가자지구로 의료 구호물품을 보내기 위한 네티즌 모금이 진행되고 있다.

다음은 모금운동 청원에 따른 검토 결과내용이다.

모금검토결과 본 청원은 이스라엘 공격으로 피 흘리며 죽어가는 팔레스타인 주민과 어린이를 치료할 의료품 구호 물품 후원을 요청하였습니다. 가자지구의 의료진에 따르면 2008년 12월 27일 시작된 이스라엘의 공격으로 1월 5일까지 524명이 사망하고, 이중 100명은 어린이들이라고 합니다. 의약품과 의료진의 부족으로 부상자들도 고통과 두려움 속에서 하루하루 버티고 있다고 합니다. 이념과 종교을 떠나 생명 존중 실천과 평화 수호를 위해 네티즌의 힘을 모으고자 희망모금을 진행합니다. ※ 모금액은 한국 유니세프를 통해 현지에서 구호 및 물품 지원 활동을 펴고있는 국제 유니세프에 전달하며, 팔레스타인 가자지구 의료 구호물품 지원에 사용하도록 하겠습니다

이 땅에 진정 평화는 올 것인가?? 이스라엘 내에도 그리스도를 믿는 유대인들 즉, 유대인이지만 기독교도 그리고 팔레스타인 가자 지구에도 팔레스타인 기독교도들이 있다고 한다.
이들은 같은 종교를 가지고 있지만, 이념, 민족, 국가가 달라 서로가 서로에게 가해자 피해자의 역할에 서야만 하는 것이다.
이스라엘도 팔레스타인도 모두 평화협정에 동참하고, 자국민들을 보호하는데 앞장서야 할 것이다. 이러한 소모전에 희생되는 것은 결국 불쌍하고 힘없는 그들의 국민들 아니던가.

1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem
2 and asked, "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star in the east and have come to worship him."
3 When King Herod heard this he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 When he had called together all the people's chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Christ was to be born.
5 "In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written:
6 "'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will be the shepherd of my people Israel.'"
7 Then Herod called the Magi secretly and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared.
8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, "Go and make a careful search for the child. As soon as you find him, report to me, so that I too may go and worship him."
9 After they had heard the king, they went on their way, and the star they had seen in the east went ahead of them until it stopped over the place where the child was.
10 When they saw the star, they were overjoyed.
11 On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh.
12 And having been warned in a dream not to go back to Herod, they returned to their country by another route.
13 When they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream. "Get up," he said, "take the child and his mother and escape to Egypt. Stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to search for the child to kill him."
14 So he got up, took the child and his mother during the night and left for Egypt,
15 where he stayed until the death of Herod. And so was fulfilled what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Out of Egypt I called my son."
16 When Herod realized that he had been outwitted by the Magi, he was furious, and he gave orders to kill all the boys in Bethlehem and its vicinity who were two years old and under, in accordance with the time he had learned from the Magi.
17 Then what was said through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled:
18 "A voice is heard in Ramah, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children and refusing to be comforted, because they are no more."
19 After Herod died, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt
20 and said, "Get up, take the child and his mother and go to the land of Israel, for those who were trying to take the child's life are dead."
21 So he got up, took the child and his mother and went to the land of Israel.
22 But when he heard that Archelaus was reigning in Judea in place of his father Herod, he was afraid to go there. Having been warned in a dream, he withdrew to the district of Galilee,
23 and he went and lived in a town called Nazareth. So was fulfilled what was said through the prophets: "He will be called a Nazarene."

12. After the exile to Babylon: Jeconiah was the father of Shealtiel, Shealtiel the father of Zerubbabel,
13. Zerubbabel the father of Abiud, Abiud the father of Eliakim, Eliakim the father of Azor,
14. Azor the father of Zadok, Zadok the father of Akim, Akim the father of Eliud,
15. Eliud the father of Eleazar, Eleazar the father of Matthan, Matthan the father of Jacob,
16. and Jacob the father of Joseph, the husband of Mary, of whom was born Jesus, who is called Christ.
17. Thus there were fourteen generations in all from Abragam to David, fourteen from David to the exile to Babylon, and fourteen from the exile to the Christ.
18. This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about; His mother mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.
19. Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.
20. But after he fad considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.
21. She will give birth to a son, and your are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."
22. All this took place to fullfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:
23. "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"--which means, "God with us."
24. When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.
25. But he had no union with her untill she gave birth to a son, And he fave him the name Jesus.
